Gwen M. Puerner-King
Gwen has worked in our wonderful industry of ever-changing beauty;
reaching a 30++++ year career. She, personally, enjoys the creativity of
the “artistry” of her career. Gwen made a home for her salon in Lake
Mills twenty years ago, and loves every exciting day that is around the
corner! Gwen wanted to offer a salon to allow other stylists to grow in
the hair industry, and create a “magical” place to nurture and grow for a
stylist. She also wanted to give the client a relaxing, high-creativity
salon to “touch up” their beauty!
She is passionate about adding a palette of color to a client’s
tresses and loves working with all natural curl clients and their needs.
She is proud of the small print of waste that leaves the salon and is
very excited about the large amount of recycle that leaves instead.
Gwen burns off her other energy with her hubby at “The Land” over in
“God’s Country”, going exploring and hiking, snow shoeing, skiing and
nature watching. She also loves photography and other forms of art work.
She is dedicated to helping the growth of our communities by serving
on the RDA (Re-Development Association) Board in Jefferson. The Hair
Salon is also active in helping with the local food pantries, and with
PADA (People Against Domestic Abuse).
Gwen looks forward to creating your “own look” and always “Sparkelizing” your world!
